We reached out to Marinda and Cat about our kitchen space. We love our house but our kitchen is what we like the least. There is no space or storage and the design is very flawed. We had no idea how to make it any better without completely gutting it and starting over. They had such great ideas and were forward thinking, understanding and helped us see a vision we never would have ourselves! They even provided steps in which we could create the kitchen of our dreams within our budget. I loved how they explained the whole process, showed us sample pieces, textures and colors to create this bold, new space. There was absolutely no pressure and they supported our vision and helped us understand the best way to accomplish it. I have already recommended them to several of my family and friends.

"I'm surprised that the reviews are good..."

I would be willing to pay more for a company that actually cares and communicates better. I made the 80% deposit payment to order my kitchen June 25th 2025 with the understanding that it would be completed in a month or so. We spent the whole summer with our kids without a kitchen, kind of feeling stressed about the whole process. We are approaching 3 months and still no communication of when it will be done. I understand that they had issues with delays with the manufacturer (which I don't blame them for), the project is now dragging because Salt city forgot to order some parts. I don't feel like they took accountability for the delay that their mistake created. After waiting for weeks for the cabinets, they finally got delivered, but I didn't have them installed for a while, so I saw them sitting in my house without any idea of what was going on. I've had a really hard time reaching Marinda, she answers texts maybe every other day with sometimes one word to multiple questions. She also doesn't answer my phone calls or calls back. Workers don't text you when they are on their way (which every other trade workers that I have hired usually do) so I have been wasting so much time waiting for someone to show up (and sometimes they haven't). The reason I went with them is because the cabinets looked really good and they seem good quality white oak, but I wish I went with a company that would charge more and execute promptly. It's kinds sketchy to me that they don't have a showroom or anywhere that we can actually go to meet with them, she kind of stopped responding leaving me wondering what is going to happen. I lost trust that they will complete this project and will have to look for another cabinet guy to work with me to finish it up.
